It was very interesting indeed. I never knew so much about geishas until I read this book. I have so much more awe and respect for geishas than I used to before. Also the amount of dedication, sacrifice and effort they make towards art.
Throughout her short time as a geisha she got to meet alot of famous people and have such interesting stories to say about each of them. Like, when she had to entertain Prince Charles(in the seventies), he voluntarily autographed her favorite fan because he assumed she might be pleased to have his autograph. Instead she was so disappointed and angry that she threw the fan immediately away. LOL!
